One practitioner, end to end
Architecture, operations, code, and conversation sit with the same person. No account team between the finding and the fix.
Company
A compact security practice with a long perimeter - named for the watchman, built for operators who already know what is at stake.
Our mission
Heimdall Security Team exists to put serious security work next to the people who run serious infrastructure. The practice sits with Jan Gebser: regional datacenters, aerospace programmes, defence agencies, and the special-task assignments that appear when a landscape must be strengthened without a press release.
Protection should take effect immediately and remain unified in its approach. Complexity is not a virtue. Clarity, discretion, and follow-through are.
Our values
Security that begins in architecture, operations, and people - not in a dashboard overlay.
Landscapes hosted, understood, and defended in Europe, for Europe.
The work is the credential. Public noise is optional.
Some assignments are briefed. Others are simply completed.
Datacenters, aerospace programmes, and agency environments that cannot fail quietly.
Clear ownership, written findings, and no security folklore.
The first hour is for the operator, not the slide deck.
Present worldwide. Patient enough to stay when the incident is over.

Jan Gebser is a Hamburg-based IT consultant working across commercial, institutional, and agency environments. The brief is deliberately wide: regional datacenter operations, aerospace programmes, defence-adjacent agencies, and potential special-task work to enhance and secure Europe’s digital landscapes.
He is present worldwide - not as a touring brand, but as a practitioner who still writes, deploys, and stands in the room. The same discipline applied to client landscapes is the one applied here: quiet, complete, and not performed for the brochure.
Public stages remain part of the craft. The latest competition was the World’s Largest Hackathon on Devpost. The next appointment is ContainerDays Hamburg, 2–4 September 2026.
Our story
Heimdall is the sentinel of the Bifröst - the one who sees first. The Security Team takes that role literally: observe the landscape, name the weak span, hold the gate.
The work grew from holding the gate on our own platforms to holding it for others. Loki remains a public lab. The rest of the practice stays off the brochure.
The same discipline moved into regional datacenters, aerospace programmes, and defence agencies. Special-task work followed where Europe’s digital landscapes needed more than a scanner report.
Heimdall Security Team is the public face of that practice. Compact on purpose. Available when the perimeter is real.
Why Heimdall
Architecture, operations, code, and conversation sit with the same person. No account team between the finding and the fix.
Datacenters, flight-adjacent systems, agency networks - each has a different grain. The work follows the grain.
Client names stay off this page. Outcomes stay with the operator. Public proof lives in the lab and on the conference floor.
The same people, the same standard. No catalogue of products between the finding and the fix.
Latest competition
Hosted on Devpost and presented by Bolt, 30 May – 30 June 2025. Over 128,000 builders. Jan competed on the open field - speed, craft, and public accountability.
